Reflecting on the 2024 Market Season

Reflecting on the 2024 Market Season

As the 2024 market season comes to a close, I’m excited to share some updates and milestones from this year. It’s been a transformative time, and my pottery has reached new places and people, which is incredibly rewarding.

This year brought some exciting developments:

  • New Shops: My work is now available at 1914 Coffee Co. in Squamish, and for those in California, my tea strainers can be found at Artis Coffee. Expanding into these spaces has been a significant step forward.

  • Custom Orders: My website is open for custom orders, with fulfillment starting in February. If you’ve been considering a custom piece, now’s the time to secure your spot.

  • Wholesale Growth: I’ve partnered with Faire to streamline the wholesale process, making it easier to get my work into more stores. It’s been a learning curve, but a worthwhile one.

Studio renovations have also been a major focus. While the process had its challenges, the improvements are already making production more efficient. I’ll share more about this journey soon, both here and in a YouTube video documenting the transformation.

Looking ahead, my priority is refining production and stocking processes to ensure a smoother workflow. This will also allow me to spend more time at home with my son, Colter, who’s already six months old. Balancing family and work is a constant effort, and I’m determined to make it work seamlessly.

Thank you for being part of this journey. I’m looking forward to a more streamlined and productive 2025, with even more pottery making its way into homes and shops near and far!
